Adel Gordon

Adel Gordon (Senior Digital Learning Developer, Team Lead)

Adel has worked in Digital Learning in HE since 1999. She brings a wealth of experience and pedagogical expertise to Durham through working with academic staff in designing, planning, developing, delivering, and enhancing their teaching.

Adel gets the best results when collaborating with academic staff; working with subject experts who want to enhance their teaching through the need to take a programme online, or to simply improve student engagement with materials, activities, and assessment in their face-to-face and blended environments.

Adel holds a PGCHE in eLearning from the University of Hull, a PGCert in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh, and is currently finishing an MSc in Blended and Online Education as an online student, at Edinburgh Napier University.

Outside of work Adel loves to spend time on the beach with her dog, Flash, and to get in the water on her paddleboard. She is also in a rock-folk band where she sings and plays the flute and penny whistle!
