Paulina Young (Assistant Digital Learning Developer)
Paulina started as Assistant Digital Developer in September 2022. With a professional background in learning, project- and people-management, Paulina’s previous work included organisations such as British Red Cross and SportScotland.
At British Red Cross, Paulina was a Training Team Manager, undertaking regular training needs analysis, designing and delivering software training and resources for a wide range of users, managing them through an LMS. She also managed the team of trainers, mentoring them in developing their skills.
As Digital Learning Officer at SportScotland, Paulina developed online courses including rubrics for national qualifications standards, in addition to developing short forms of learning to boost knowledge with sport professionals, staff and volunteers. She supported subject matter experts building storyboards, developing user-centred content and carrying out usability testing. She has experience of projects from conception to evaluation with various professionals, such as safeguarding officers, psychosocial practitioners, refugee services officers, sports coaches etc.
Currently developing her instructional design and digital accessibility skills, Paulina holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University, a PG Cert in Social and Psychological Enquiry and is currently studying towards her MSc in Psychology.
